Jenny Arthur
VIRUS is pleased to welcome Jenny Arthur, 2016 Olympian, to the VTeam roster. Jenny is from Gainesville, Georgia and now currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she trains, coaches, and owns a gym with 2012 Olympian Norik Vardanian. She also has multiple years of weightlifting experience under 1972 Gold Medalist Zygmunt Smalcerz and was part of US Olympic Training Center Resident Athlete program from 2012-2016. Jenny is a 4 time USA weightlifting champion, 3 time USA World Team, and has taught over 15 weightlifting seminars in last year. Jenny holds the American snatch, clean and jerk, and total record in the 75kg weight class. Her best lifts are currently a 107kg snatch and 138kg clean and jerk. She placed 6th at the 2016 Olympic Games and 5th at the past 2017 IWF world championships. Jenny is set to compete for Team USA in the upcoming 2018 IWF world championships.
